MINEX Russia Mining and Exploration Forum, held in Moscow since 2005, is regarded as one of the most successful business-driven mining events in Russia.

The Forum consistently attracts over 500 top executives and managers from leading Russian and international companies.

Over 50 Russian and international mining and service companies exhibit at the Trade and Investment Show which is organised alongside the Forum which and attracts about 1,000 business and investment professionals.

The Forum addresses the ongoing developments and prospects for exploration, mining and processing of minerals and metals in Russia and across the countries of the Eurasian Economic Community. The Forum also provides a powerful impetus for the exchange of experiences and finding the best solutions to increase efficiency and investment attractiveness of Russian mining companies.

Over 100 speaker presentations and reports from Russian and international companies are presented at the Forum each year. Short courses and master classes organised prior to the mainstream Forum offer delegates extensive opportunities for technical learning and skills development.

Some organisations take advantage of the fact that the elite representatives from the Russian mining  industry are gathered in Moscow  and use this opportunity to hold open or closed meetings onsite.

The Forum also hosts the annual meeting of the Russian subsoil users with the leadership of the Federal Agency for Subsoil Use (Rosnedra).

MINEX Russia Forum also traditionally hosts national and international mining awards and competitions.
